In the case of underbuilt areas, reveals are provided with thermal insulation which make drainage channels with low construction heights necessary. In this case, there is no possibility for a connection (vertical or horizontal).
The DACHFIX drain box sits on top of the protruding insulation board to provide a positive connection to the channel and carry water to a discharge point beyond the structure; with the option for vertical or horizontal pipe connection at least 15 cm lower than the channel invert.
