Your benefits with AQUAFIX oil/water separators made of concrete
Concrete separators consist of monolithically cast and reinforced concrete of class C40/50 with a wall thickness of at least 120 mm and formed in accordance with DIN 4034, Part 1, i.e. with a tapered sleeve with a wedge-shaped spring seal. Pipe couplings consist of stainless steel or plastic pipes with double seals which pass through the concrete wall. Mounted parts are made of PE or PP, CNS1.4301 stainless steel or coated steel. The systems are finished with a primer coat and two coats of a light liquid two-part epoxy-based coating.

Design of the AQUAFIX concrete oil/water separators
The internal components of light liquid separators are made of polyethylene or stainless steel. Hydrocarbon separators operating on the principle of coalescence processes are fitted as standard with a deflector inlet element, a siphon outlet element, a basket of coalescing material and a float which acts as an automatic shut-off preventing the escape of the accumulated oil substances in the separator when their permissible layer thickness is exceeded. Principle of operation – accumulation of very small droplets of light liquid in the (oelophilic) coalescence-material. The larger droplets rise upwards and the smaller ones are taken up by the flow. The smaller droplets precipitate upon coalescence and become an oily film.
Application areas for AQUAFIX concrete separators
Concrete hydrocarbon separators are used in high traffic areas where medium to high flow is required:
