AQUAFIX NPE neutralisers are designed to neutralise battery acid. The unit neutralises sulphuric acid with a concentration of 30-38%. The tanks are rectangular in shape with rounded edges. The combination of high quality material, thickness and optimised manufacturing processes guarantees high stability and durability. The neutralisers are equipped with a manhole opening, which, thanks to its diameter, allows easy access to the inside of the tank for cleaning and maintenance, and a manhole cover made of polyethylene in class A 15.

What is the neutralisation of battery acid?
The neutraliser tanks are made of PE-HD plastic, which is completely resistant to acids. The tanks are filled with calcium carbonate. When the sulphuric acid combines with the calcium carbonate, anhydrite, water and carbon dioxide are formed. The anhydrite absorbs the water and turns into gypsum.
Design of the AQUAFIX PE acid neutraliser
The neutraliser tanks are rectangular in shape with rounded edges. They are made of high density polyethylene. The tanks have 1 manhole with a diameter of 630 mm. All models are designed to be transported by forklift and have special handles for manual handling. Battery acid neutralisers have an internal baffle containing a marble insert responsible for neutralising sulphuric acid.
Application areas for acid neutralisers
AQUAFIX NPE neutralisers are used wherever waste water may be contaminated with sulphuric acid, e.g. in warehouses, workshops or battery rooms.
