Rainfall for drainage calculations
The hydraulic design tool incorporates a UK Rainfall Map, which uses data from the ‘Flood Studies Report’ with rainfall intensity options in mm/h, l/s*Ha and l/s*m2. Users have the options for return period, storm duration and climate change giving accurate linear drainage designs.
Channel designs
DesignSoftware has the flexibility for construction professionals to create linear drainage designs using any digital device. It has accurate, precise hydraulic analysis and channel sizing with the design methodology independently tested and validated.

Channel drainage systems
Accommodates HAURATON’s core range of linear drainage systems for total design flexibility (from civils, commercial, landscape and other project types). Includes all channel types and depths that are available.
Project specification
Automatic generation of project documents for specification support including hydraulic analysis, materials list and information datasheets available.
DesignSoftware has been extensively tested and validated by an independent hydraulics consultancy company. HAURATON technical personnel has successfully implemented designs with total reliability.
User confidentiality
Ensuring our users have complete confidentiality when using DesignSoftware is important to us. This is why registered users have password protected access to safe and secure server storage in regards to their final designs.
The software does allow users to share designs with HAURATON (by ticking ‘share with HAURATON’) or has the option to export files on their own drives for sharing with colleagues for further design or discussion.
The software is configured to comply with GDPR data privacy regulations.
